Editors Note: Everyone I just wanted to amend Lee's comment in last month's eNews - What will you be doing on Valentines Day?

Instead of phoning Heather from the Rhino Bar in Townsville, Lee actually snuck back home to Cairns. He caught the early flight Sunday morning to surprise her… Big Softie!

Booking Appointments with Lee

Great news! As Lee is so popular he will be sharing himself evenly between both salons. We are sure that this will please everybody so that no-one misses out.

In a few months time, Lee will start rotating his appointments between our two salons with 2 weeks in Cairns then 2 weeks in Townsville on an ongoing basis. We expect this to start around end July/early August. Until then, Lee will remain in Townsville but is taking some appointments for Reds Cairns on limited dates.

Over the next couple of months he will be back in Cairns on the following dates.

Anyone wishing to make an appointment should get in quick as the days are filling fast. Further times and/or changes to these weeks will be announced via SMS or on our eNews.

Guest Masseuse - Felicity Hopkins

This month we welcome special guest Felicity Hopkins who specialises in Lomi Lomi massage.

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi: Uniting breath, heart and rhythm.

Felicity has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2002. Originally trained in remedial therapy, Felicity's massage style has evolved over time, incorporating energy work, deep tissue therapy and nourishing relaxation techniques to create a conscious, transformative experience.

Most recently Felicity has trained in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, a beautiful and ancient style of bodywork. Lomi Lomi works to ignite love in the heart and to foster connection with the breath. Felicity's goal as a therapist is to facilitate full body integration, balance and healing, so the spirit can arrive at a state of nurtured relaxation, openness and peace.

Appointments are for 90 minute blocks to obtain the full benefits of Lomi lomi and are priced at $120.

Are you enjoying working in a brand new Salon?

The Salon is fantastic and the team is the best that I have worked with.

Have you always been a hairdresser?

No, I used to be a Quantity Surveyor - Google it!

What enticed you to the glamour side of life???!

I have always had a passion for hair. When I was given the opportunity to pursue hair as a career I jumped at it and have never looked back.

What is your fav part of being a hairdresser?

Blowdrying/Finishing. I love changing the shape of hair (length, texture etc).

What celeb heads have you done?

I have been fortunate to work with some amazing clients Corey "Homicide" Williams, Willie Tonga, Emily Scott just to name a few.

Products -fav?

Everybody that loves their hair should have these products in their cupboard - Crazy on Shine, Heat Protector, Conditioner Cortex and as always Sculpting Spray.

If Miranda Kerr came into your salon, what would you do to her hair?

Give her sexy low lights to refresh her look from summer and take her from autumn through to winter. And I couldn't resist myself - I'd give her the biggest bounciest blow-dry ever!
