KickArts is the leading contemporary arts organisation in regional Queensland, with a 16 year history of presenting and promoting high quality contemporary arts.

KickArts is partly self - funded through the sale of fine art, craft and design through our exhibitions program and the KickArts Shop. However, our most precious support comes from people who assist us through sponsorship of exhibitions and general patronage.

KickArts Patrons Program has been created to encourage support from the community to contribute to the advancement of contemporary arts practice in the region and we welcome your participation to enable many diverse opportunities for artists and to promote KickArts Contemporary Arts as an integral part of the artistic, cultural and economic vitality of Cairns.

Nearly two years have passed since Ms Alison (www.alison.co.za) presented her inspiration and emotional story to the Cairns Business Women's Club  -  which was a sell out event. During that time, Alison has continued to deal with challenges in her life  -  not unlike those that many of us face at some stage, such as emotional abuse and divorce.

Alison believes that it is not just the BIG traumas that we deal with, but the things that we face every day  -  that we can take control and decide how we will respond.

Dry July - Take the Challenge and Support Cancer Patients

Dry July is an online social community where an individual or group can sign up to the challenge of a month long sponsored abstinence from alcohol, and in doing so raise funds for adult cancer patients.
